Bangladesh-India Friendship Society has distributed food items among the poor and needy people on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, aimed at further strengthening the brotherly relationship between the people of India and Bangladesh.
The food distribution ceremony was held on Friday at the Dakbanglo Ground in Kishoreganj upazila under Nilphamari district, according to a press release.
Bangladesh-India Friendship Society’s General Secretary Sree Narayan Saha Moni, Treasurer Sheikh Abdul Mannan; Publicity and Publications Affairs Secretary Saifullah Al Mamun were present on the occasion.
Israt Jahan Pallabi, executive member of Bangladesh-India Friendship Society and member of Nilphamari Zilla Parishad, organised the food distribution event.
