Labour Conusellor of Bangladesh mission in Saudi Arabia’s Jeddah M Aminul Islam has been tested positive for the novel coronavirus.
The matter was disclosed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Dhaka on Saturday.
M Aminul Islam was collaborating with Saudi authorities to test as many as 4,000 Bangladeshi workers for the Covid-19.
Foreign Minister Dr AK Abdul Momen wished for his speedy recovery, said ministry sources.
