Twenty-five people died of Covid-19 in Bangladesh in the 24 hours till 8:00am on Monday taking the toll to 12,401, according to a release issued by the Director General of Health Services.
Besides, 1,441 people tested positive for the virus during the same period pushing the caseloads to 7,90,521.
A total of 834 patients recovered from the virus in the past 24 hours, said the release.
