Bangladesh and Mauritius have agreed to collaborate in trade and investment, particularly in the pharmaceutical, tourism and IT sectors to elevate bilateral ties.

Foreign Secretary Masud Bin Momen paid a courtesy call on Mauritius Foreign Minister Alan Ganoo and his counterpart Haymandoyal Dillum where the whole gamut of bilateral issues was discussed.

The senior secretary is on an official visit to Port Luis, Mauritius, from February 13-15.

On Monday, Momen along with his entourage visited ‘Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Street’ in the heart of Plaine Verte in Port Louis, the capital of Mauritius.

There, they paid tribute to the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
