The Minister said while speaking as the chief guest at a webinar titled ‘Innovation in Entrepreneur Development’ organised by Dhaka University Innovation Centre here today, said a press release.
“Bangladesh is not lagging behind the developed countries for its advancement in communication technology…. Bangladesh has set an example in the world under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina,” he said.
Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman has sown the seeds of digitization by nationalizing primary education as well as setting up satellite ground stations at Betbunia, forming T&T boards and gaining membership of ITU and UPU, he added.
Former Governor of Bangladesh Bank Dr Atiur Rahman, Professor Khandaker Bazlul Haque and Bangladesh Bank official Md. Arifuzzaman, among others, spoke at the meeting.
