The golden jubilee of the Bangladesh Navy has been celebrated under the title “Naval Ensign 10 – Smritite Amlan Bangabandhu” all across the country.
President Abdul Hamid and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina delivered special greetings on this occasion, said an ISPR press release on Friday.
To celebrate the day colourful rallies, voluntary blood donation programs, humanitarian assistance to the needy and various programs were organized across the country.
As part of this, a rally was held in Dhaka’s Manik Mia Avenue with the participation of Naval Operations Assistant Chief Rear Admiral M Ashraful Haque along with principal staff officers, directors, naval officers and sailors.
