Bangladesh reported 22 more Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours till Saturday morning.
With the new numbers, the country's total caseload to 2,043,935, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
The daily case test positivity rate declined to 4.27per cent from Friday’s 4.31 as 515 samples were tested.
However, the recovery and death rates remained unchanged at 98.38 and 1.44 per cent, respectively.
Bangladesh registered its highest daily caseload of 16,230 on July 28 in 2021 and its highest number of fatalities of 264 on August 10 the same year.
