Jatiya Sangsad Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury said that the Bangladesh-WICCI Award will inspire women entrepreneurs to work with more enthusiasm.
The speaker said this as she was delivering her speech as the chief guest at the Bangladesh- WICCI Award Night 2021 organized by Bangladesh-India Business Council of Women’s Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industries (BIBC-WICCI) at a hotel in Dhaka on Tuesday.
The Speaker handed the Bangladesh-WICCI Award-2021 to 12 eminent individuals and 3 organizations.
Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Anisul Huq and Prime Minister's Industry Affairs Advisor Salman Fazlur Rahman also spoke as special guest and guest of honour respectively. Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) President Md Jashim Uddin chaired the proceedings. Indian High Commissioner to Bangladesh Vikram Kumar Doraiswami was also present among others.
