The Bangladesh Bank (BB) has again changed the banking hours for all banks from 10am to 2pm.
However, banks can be kept open until 4 pm for carrying out internal tasks after the transaction period. And, in the red zones, the branches will stay closed.
On Monday, BB’s Department of Off-Site Supervision issued a circular with instructions in this regard.
The government has announced that there will be a general holiday in the red zones. In this context, the central bank has again changed the schedule of bank transactions.
