Bangladesh Bank has asked all the scheduled banks to keep open their branches and sub-branches on Saturday with limited manpower and security for proper management of Hajj activities.
The Department of Off-site Supervision (DOS) of Bangladesh Bank issued a circular in this regard on Thursday.
The circular stated that, as per the request of the Ministry of Religious Affairs the central bank instructed all the banks to ensure services on Saturday.
