Bashundhara Group has distributed blankets among 2,000 destitute in Bagerhat with the collaboration of Kaler Kantho’s Shuvosangho.
Around 900 cold-hit people were handed over blankets on the premises of the district council on Wednesday, a press release said.
Bagerhat Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Azizur Rahman was the chief guest in the programme.
Besides, blankets were distributed among the distressed people of Morrelganj, Chitalmari, Fakirhat, Mollahat, Kachua, and Rampal upazilas.
