BB warns of fraudulent letters sent to banks

The Bangladesh Bank has warned against a series of fraudulent letters that are being sent to different banks using the name “Bangladesh Bank Sangbad,” and central bank logo.

Confirming the matter to the media on Tuesday, Bangladesh Bank spokesperson Mezbaul Haque said, “Many banks had received this fraudulent message. It should be noted the regulator has no affiliation with this organisation.

“The central bank warns against making any financial transactions with this organisation.”
