The Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has issued traffic guidelines showing roadblocks and diversion points in the area around Suhrawardy Udyan where Bangladesh Chhatra League is all set to hold its 30th council session.
According to DMP's Ramna Traffic Division, the diversion points are — Kataban crossing, Hotel Intercontinental crossing, Kakrail mosque crossing, Kakrail church crossing, UBL crossing, High Court crossing, Doyel Chattar crossing, Dhaka University Medical Center, Jagannath Hall crossing, Dhaka University Bhaskarja crossing and Vice-Chancellor Bhaban crossing.
Traffic diversions will be kept until the council session ends, it said.
Commuters have been requested to use alternative roads in the vicinity of Suhrawardy Udyan.
Awami League President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is scheduled to inaugurate the council session of Chhatra League, the student wing of the ruling party.
