The Bangladesh Financial Intelligence Unit (BFIU) has sought the bank account details of former lawmaker of Pirojpur-2 constituency Mohiuddin Maharaj, his wife and children.
A senior official of BFIU confirmed the matter, adding that the unit has sent a letter in this regard to the executives of all banks and financial institutions.
The letter read, “All transaction details of personal and business accounts in the name of Mohiuddin Maharaj, his wife Umme Kulsum and son Sammam Junaid Ifti should be forwarded to the BFIU within the next 7 days.”
