BFTI, BRACU to jointly offer int’l business courses

Bangladesh Foreign Trade Institute (BFTI) and BRAC University has signed a memorandum of understanding for initiating academic courses on international trade and business. 

The MoU was signed at the BFTI conference room in Dhaka on Sunday, said a press release.

Under this MoU, the institutions will conduct joint educational courses, like Post Graduate Diploma and Master’s Certificate Programmes and Management Development Programmes.

BFTI Chief Executive Officer Dr Md Jafar Uddin and BRAC University Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Vincent Chang signed the MoU on behalf of their respective organisations.

Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi, also the chairman of BFTI, was present at the signing as chief guest, while Commerce Secretary Tapan Kanti Ghosh was present as Special Guest. Tamara Hasan Abed, the chairperson of the Board of Trustees at BRAC University, attended as the guest of honour.
