BIHA Champions League unveils trophy

Bangladesh International Hotel Association (BIHA), the preeminent representative organisation in the hospitality industry, has unveiled the trophy of Bangladesh’s first inter-hotel cricket champions league – titled BIHA Champions League (BCL) 2024.

The trophy unveiling ceremony was held at Sheraton Dhaka on Tuesday. Twenty distinguished hotels successfully registered for BCL 2024, read a press release.

Collaborating to ensure the success of this grand event is the responsibility of the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism, Bangladesh Tourism Board, and Tourist Police Bangladesh.

Each match will witness the acknowledgment of outstanding performances with the prestigious “Man of the Match” award. State-of-the-art facilities have been arranged to provide an unparalleled experience for both players and spectators, emphasising BIHA's commitment to excellence.

The tournament will commence on February 22, 2024, will go on for 14 days and the final match will be held on March 11, 2024. The title Sponsor of the league is Bashundhara Pocket, where the brand ambassador is renowned cricketer Imrul Kayes.

Unique Group Managing Director Mohd Noor Ali, also the advisor of BIHA, said, “As a hospitality entrepreneur, I believe in a sportsmanship attitude towards our profession. Hence, playing any kind of sport will broaden our mentality and physical fitness.
