In addition to that, the state carrier has also suspended all its flights to Manchester until June 30.
Biman confirmed the cancellation of its flights through separate posts on its website on Sunday.
It added that flights to Kolkata, Delhi, Muscat, Kathmandu, UAE would remain suspended until further notice.
Biman earlier cancelled flight arrangements with 13 countries – Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cyprus, Georgia, India, Nepal, Iran, Mongolia, Oman, South Africa and Tunisia – citing Covid-19 risks.
The Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh, however, said that Bangladeshi expatriates (non-resident Bangladeshis) residing in these countries could come to Bangladesh with the special permission of respective embassies.
In that case, before they set foot in Bangladesh, they have to book a hotel designated by the government at their own expense for a 14-day institutional quarantine.
