The national flag career Biman Bangladesh Airlines has increased the number of domestic flights to cover elevated demand surrounding Eid-ul-Fitr celebrations.
Biman will operate an additional nine (18 round-trip) flights on domestic routes. Additional flights will be operated on domestic routes from April 4 to April 10, said the airline’s General Manager (Public Relations) Tahera Khandkar.
Quoting her, a press release issued Sunday read that the additional flights will be operated in Saidpur, Rajshahi, Jashore, and Barisal routes. Besides, Sylhet and Chattogram-bound passengers can travel in Biman’s large aircraft.
The passengers can purchase tickets for these routes from any Biman sales center, Biman website www.biman-airlines.com, Biman call center 13636 and Biman authorised travel agencies.
The release also read that a 10 per cent discount on the original fare can be availed by using the promo code “BGDEAL24” when purchasing tickets from Biman's website and mobile apps. The Biman web portal has more detailed information.
