Biman Bangladesh Airlines has announced the resumption of its flights on the Dhaka-Sylhet-Manchester route from December 25, after almost 2 years of suspension due to the Covid-19 paramedic.
The airlines will operate only one flight from December 25 to December 29, according to a Biman press release issued on Saturday.
Biman will restart two flights a week on the Dhaka-Sylhet-Manchester route every Thursday and Sunday from December 30, 2021, to March 25, 2022.
The flight will depart from Dhaka around 12:30pm every Thursday and Sunday and reach Sylhet at 1:10 pm. The flight will leave Sylhet at 2:15pm and reach Manchester at 8:00pm local time.
The return flight from Manchester will depart every Friday and Monday at 4:45pm local time and reach Sylhet at 8:45am the next day and leave Sylhet at 9:45am and reach Dhaka at 10:30am.
Negative PCR test required to be done 48 hours before arrival in Manchester, according to the hygiene rules. After landing, passengers will have to stay in self-isolation for 10 days until they get a negative Corona test result.
