BRAC University Pro Vice-Chancellor Prof Syed Mahfuzul Aziz, who serves as the institution’s acting VC, lauded his students for taking the initiative to clean the roads, and ease the city dwellers’ commute by controlling traffic on Wednesday.
In a press release, Prof Aziz said, “At a turning point for this country, your [students] sense of responsibility has delighted and inspired us. We firmly believe that you [students] are capable of leading this country to a peaceful and fair existence.”
“We stand by our students. Let us all work together to keep everyone safe, including the minority communities. We wish everyone to be well and safe.”
