Brigadier General Mohammad Nurus Salam, PSC has taken charge as the project director of the government’s fast track project, E-Passport and Automated Border Control Management (ABCM). He started in the position on February 3.
Nurus Salam, with high technical work experience both domestically and internationally, has previously served in various significant duties within the Bangladesh Army.
He is also the dean at the Faculty of Business and Social Sciences at Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP). The brig gen is also the senate committee member of the university.
It should be noted that the Security Services Division under the Ministry of Home Affairs is implementing this project in collaboration with Germany's Veridos GmbH.
