Indian Border Security Force Friday night held Bangladeshi youth Rashedul Mia, 25, at Dantbhanga in Roumari of Kurigram.
He was arrested at around 8:00pm near border pillar 1056 at Chhatkaraibari village in Dantbhanga Union of Roumari.
He lived in the same village and is the son of Abul Hossain.
Dantbhanga union council member Md Mizanur Rahman Mizan confirmed the news.
According to local sources, Rashedul Mia went to the border to smuggle cattle from India when he was held by the BSF members of Gutalu camp in India.
Nayeb Subedar Mizanur Rahman of 35 Border Guard Bangladesh camp in Jamalpur said that they were trying to contact the BSF after receiving information about Rashedul's arrest from his family.
