The bullet-hit body of a 35-year-old man was found along the Chakpara border in Shibganj upazila of Chapainawabganj early Sunday.
The deceased was identified as Sadiqur Rahman, son of Taiabur Rahman of the upazila.
Local people spotted the body of Sadiqur in the bordering area near pillar number 183/4S adjacent to Jamtala Bridge and informed the Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) members around 6:30am, said BGB Battalion-59 Commanding Officer Golam Kibria.
Police recovered the body and sent it to Chapainawabganj 250-bed Hospital morgue for autopsy, said Chowdhury Zobair, officer-in-charge of Shibganj police station.
