Seven passengers of a CNG-run autorickshaw have been killed after a bus hit the three wheeler on the Mankun area of Muktagaccha.
The accident took place around 4:30 pm on Saturday (August 8).
Muktagachha Police Officer-in-Charge (OC) Biplob Kumar Biswas confirmed the matter.
He said, “Jamalpur-bound Rajib Paribahan bus crushed a Mymensingh-bound CNG-run autorickshaw in Muktagacha's Mankun area. Four passengers of the CNG autorickshaw were killed on the spot. The three injured died on the way to the hospital.”
The bus driver was arrested immediately after the incident, he further said.
