A calibration flight from Barishal made an emergency landing at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (HSIA) in Dhaka on Sunday afternoon.
No casualties were reported in the incident and three firefighting units were dispatched after receiving the information about the emergency landing, according to the media cell of the Fire Service and Civil Defence.
The reason for the emergency landing could not be known immediately.
Sources at the HSIA said the calibration flight mainly does not carry passengers rather it is conducted to inspect the function of various equipment at the airport.
