ICMAB's CBC organises CPD event on MPS

Chattogram Branch Council (CBC) of the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB) on Saturday organised a CPD programme on “Monetary Policy Statement of Bangladesh Bank: An Evaluation” at CMA Bhaban, Chattogram.

Pradip Paul FCA FCMA, Chairman, CBC, ICMAB presided over the program and delivered welcome remark, according to a press release.

Professor Md Salim Uddin FCA, FCMA, honourable President, ICMAB and Chairman, BHBFC & Union Bank PLC, has graced the program as “Chief Guest”. Dr A H M Salimullah, Professor of department of Economics at University of Chittagong was present as the “Session Chairman”.

Resource person of the program was Md Rakibul Islam Mayshan FCMA, Assistant Professor of department of Accounting at University of Chittagong & Secretary, CBC.

Chief Guest states that Monetary Policy Statement of Bangladesh Bank would be more effective for our economy when proper combination is complied with Fiscal Policy.

A large number of Fellow & Associate members of Chattogram region and senior students of ICMAB Chattogram Branch attended the program and actively participated in the question & answer session.

The whole program was nicely conducted by Mr Rizwan Hassan ACMA, Treasurer, CBC and the vote of thanks was offered by Mr Mohammad Shaheed FCA, FCMA, Vice-Chairman, CBC.
