Certificate award ceremony of BAF Flying Instructors' course held

The certificate award ceremony of the no 64 Flying Instructors Course of Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) was held at Flying Instructors School, Arulia Airfield, Bogura on Wednesday.

Air Officer Commanding of BAF Base Birsreshto Matiur Rahman and Air vice Marshal Mohammed Khair Ul Afsar attended the ceremony as the chief guest and distributed certificates among course participants of the Flying Instructors' Course, said an ISPR release.

In the chief guest speech, Mohammed Khair Ul Afsar mentioned that now student officers were part of the glorious team of the flying instructors, who will enable them to train the ab-initio pilots to defend the sky of Bangladesh, according to an ISRP release issued, reports BSS.

It said that 11 officers from Bangladesh Air Force and one officer from Bangladesh Navy received the certificates on successful completion of the Flying Instructors' Course.

Squadron Leader Musfiqur Rahman, GD (P) of No 64 Flying Instructors' Course was adjudged the best all-around student-officer and was awarded the prestigious “Mofiz Trophy.”

Officer Commanding of the Flying Instructors' School (FIS), Group Captain Walid Ahmed Shishir, gave a brief on the course, conducted by the school, the release said.

It added, among others, senior officers of Bangladesh Air Force and local government officials were also present on the occasion.
