The newest executive committee of the Insurance Reporters’ Forum (IRAF) has been set in motion for the period of 2023-2025.
The committee inducts fresh faces of the newly-elected Chairman Gazi Anwar from Time News and Editor Shakhwat Hossain Shumon from The Business Post.
The committee has been set on the backdrop of an IRAF general meeting at a resort in Gazipur on Friday.
The committee consists of Deputy Chairman Masud Miah, Joint-Secretary General Abdur Rahman, Finance Editor Zakir Hossain, Organising Secretary Akhtaruzzaman, and Department and Welfare Secretary Salim Malik.
The executive panel comprises Ali Riaz, Aminul Islam, Jafar Ahmed and Rezaul Karim.
The meeting was presided over by retiring Chairman Ali Riaz and was coordinated by former General Secretary Shakhwat Hossain Shumon.
