Firefighters put out a fire that broke out at a plastic factory in the city's Chawkbazar area on Tuesday evening.
It was extinguished around 6:30pm, an official of the fire service control room told UNB.
The fire broke out at a plastic factory around 6:05pm.
On information, three firefighting units went to the spot and extinguished the fire.
No casualty was reported. It was not immediately clear what sparked the fire.
