Chief Adviser Prof Muhammad Yunus sat in a meeting with a BNP delegation on Thursday afternoon.
A three member BNP delegation, led by party Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, joined the meeting at state guesthouse Jamuna at 4pm, said BNP media cell member Sayrul Kabir Khan.
The two other members of the delegation include standing committee members Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury and Salahuddin Ahmed.
For the last couple of days, Mirza Fakhrul has been urging the interim government to engage in discussions with political parties to make a decision on the national election and state reforms.
On August 12, a seven-member BNP delegation held its first meeting with Dr Yunus after he was sworn in as the chief adviser.
