Chief Justice hospitalised with respiratory problem

Chief Justice Syed Mahmud Hossain has been admitted to the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in the capital with respiratory problem. He was admitted two days ago.

Mohammad Saifur Rahman, Special Officer at the Supreme Court told The Business Post that the Chief Justice was admitted to the hospital due to an old asthma problem.

Doctors found his sodium level had dropped slightly below than required, therefore he is kept under observation and rest in the hospital cabin, he said.

He has signed at least 100 files from the hospital in the last two days, Saifur added.
