Chinese Embassy distributed Relief to 12,500 people in Feni

Cooked food and monthly food packs have been distributed to 12,500 flood-affected people of Feni under the initiative of the Chinese Embassy.

Helpless people of Sonagazi, Fulgazi, Parshuram, Daganbhuiyan, Chhagalnaiya and Feni Sadar have received this assistance. As a part of this, the China Embassy in Dhaka and the Association of Bangladesh China Alumni (ABCA ), food for 100 families was handed over to the Deputy Commissioner of Feni, Shahina Akhtar on Tuesday. 

Apart from this, monthly food packs were distributed to 1,150 people of 230 families affected by the flood in Chhagalnaiya Upazila of Feni. Upazila Nirbahi Officer Saiful Islam was present on the occasion. 

Meanwhile, during the distribution of monthly food packs at Bathania Government Primary School in the Pathannagar area of the Chhagalnaiya upazila, Professor Sahabul Haque, General Secretary of ABCA, the cultural attaché of the Chinese Embassy, Sun Kang Ning, and other alumni members were present. 

Since August 25, the Chinese Embassy and EBCA have been providing cooked food to 6,000 people affected by the floods in Feni.
