The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of police has brought 118 CCTV cameras and 10 digital video recording (DVR) machines to its custody.

A four-member investigation team led by CID Inspector Mohammad Sharif visited the depot at 10:30am on Saturday and seized the CCTV cameras and DVR machines.

Earlier, the authority of BM Container Depot was monitored its whole area by 118 CCTV cameras and stored its data from these cameras on ten DVR machines.

BM container depot sources said a CID team went inside the container depot to the damaged IT room this morning. They collected various pictures and information from there. The recovered DVR then seized the burnt parts of the machine.

CID inspector Mohammad Sharif told BSS that they have seized the digital signs of the container depot. The IT room was completely destroyed due to the explosion. DVR machines that store CCTV data have been seized, he said.
