The government will publish the circular on 42nd (Special) Bangladesh Civil Service (BSC) examination this month in order to appoint 2,000 more physicians in the country for tackling coronavirus.
Public Service Commission’s (PSC) controller of examination (cadre) A EM Nesar Uddin confirmed this to reporters on Tuesday.
He said, “The appointment regulations have been sent to the Public Administration Ministry for necessary amendment in order to employ 2, 000 physicians through 42nd (Special) BCS examination. The circular will be published after amendment at the end of the month.”
Earlier, around 5,000 doctors were appointed through 39th (Special) BCS examination.
