The education ministry on Saturday extended the closure of all secondary and higher secondary educational institutions until May 29.
Confirming the matter, education ministry public relations officer MA Khair said through a press release that the decision was taken following advice from the national advisory committee on Covid-19.
The online education programme will continue until this period, said the press release.
