The Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources has fixed the closing time of compressed natural gas (CNG) refuelling stations from 5pm to 10pm (5-hour) during Ramadan.

According to an instruction of the ministry, it rescheduled the opening and closing time of CNG refuelling stations and set five hours for closing time during Ramadan in order to mitigate possible low-pressure of gas distribution network during the peak hours of electricity.

From 1st Ramadan, 2024 to April 6, 2024, the CNG station closing time will be 5pm to 10pm (5-hour), which was earlier 6pm to 11pm.

Necessary measures should be taken to keep CNG stations open round-the-clock during April 7-18, 2024 to facilitate supply of fuel for vehicles movement on the occasion of the upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr.

After the Eid, CNG stations will remain closed from 6pm to 11pm from April 19, 2024, as before.
