A cold storage in Burichang upazila of Cumilla collapsed on Tuesday.
The cold storage named Mokam Cold Storage Ltd at Kabila Bazar of Mokam Union collapsed in the morning and six units of fire service rushed to the spot immediately, confirmed Cumilla fire service official Md Badiuzzaman.
No one was injured in the incident but a number of cows were found dead in a farm adjacent to the storage facility, he said.
The cows might have died due to inhaling of poisonous gas from the storage facility where at least 50 mounds of potatoes were stored at the time, he added.
