The cold wave has started to affect most parts of Khulna, Rangpur, and Rajshahi divisions, Meteorologist Shahinul Islam said on Monday.
“Temperatures have dropped across the country since Sunday. The cold wave has already hit three divisions - Khulna, Rangpur, and Rajshahi - where temperatures have dropped as well. However, at 11:00 am we will make an announcement on the cold wave,” Shahinul added.
“The temperature in Dhaka was recorded 14.7 degrees Celsius on Monday morning which was 17.3 degrees Celsius on Sunday. Meanwhile, the temperature in Tetulia and Chuadanga dropped to 8.8 and 7.4 degrees Celsius and it may go down further,” Shahinul said.
