The Bus Rapid Transit project authorities have urged Dhaka city dwellers to use alternative roads avoiding the Airport Road for 72 hours starting from Thursday 6:00 pm.
In a notice, published in newspapers on Wednesday, the project director ASM Elias Shah stated that permanent smooth vehicle movement will be achieved by development work for the road in the project's airport station area under special management.
The development work would take place between Thursday at 6:00 pm and Sunday at 6:00 am. Both people and vehicles are requested to use alternate routes as there is a possibility of tailback, the notice added.
The authorities have apologised in advance for the temporary inconvenience.
