The probe committee formed to investigate the explosion at Shema Oxygen Oxico Ltd in Sitakunda upazila of Chattogram has found irregularities of the company authorities.
The committee also made nine recommendations, including modernising the firefighting system and ensuring training for individuals concerned, to avoid such incidents in the future.
Additional District Magistrate Rakib Hasan, who led the probe body, submitted a report in this regard to Deputy Commissioner Abul Bashar Mohammed Fakhruzzaman on Monday night.
A deadly blast took place at Shema Oxygen Oxico Ltd in the Kadamrasul area on March 4, leaving seven people dead and 30 others injured. The district administration formed an eight-member probe body on the same day to investigate the blast.
