The contractual appointments of National Board of Revenue (NBR) Chairman Abu Hena Rahmatul Muneem and nine other secretaries have been cancelled.
The Ministry of Public Administration issued a notification regarding this decision on Wednesday.
The list of cancelled contractual appointments includes, Chairman of the National Board of Revenue Abu Hena Rahmatul Muneem, Secretary of the National Parliament Secretariat KM Abdus Salam, Secretary of the Road and Transport Department ABM Amin Ullah Nuri, Chairman of the Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA) Lokman Hossain Miah, Senior Secretary of the Planning Division Satyajit Karmakar, Secretary of the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism Md Mokammel Hossain, Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture Begum Wahida Akhter, Secretary of the Ministry of Science and Technology Md. Ali Hossain, Secretary of the Ministry of Railways Dr Md Humayun Kabir, and Executive Member (Secretary) of the Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA) Md Khairul Islam.
