The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) on Monday filed a case against five people, including BNP standing committee member Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury and his wife, on graft charges.
ACC Deputy Director Selina Aktar filed the case with its integrated district office in Dhaka-1, said ACC Secretary Md Mahbub Hossain.
Other accused in the case are– Khasru’s wife Tahera Khasru Alam, Hotel Sarina’s Chairman Golam Sarwar, his wife Sabera Sarwar, and Rajdhani Unnayan Kartripakkha (Rajuk) building inspector Aurangzeb Nannu.
There are allegations against the accused that they constructed a building on road no 27 in the capital’s Banani through fraudulent means, Mahbub Hossain said.
