Court orders seizure of ex-BB deputy governor, family tax files

A Dhaka court on Wednesday ordered the seizure of income tax files of Bangladesh Bank's former deputy governor Sitangshu Kumar Sur Chowdhury, his wife Suporna Sur Chowdhury, and daughter Nandita Sur Chowdhury.

Dhaka Metropolitan Sessions Judge Mohammed Ash Shams Joglul Hossain gave the order following a petition of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC).

ACC Public Prosecutor Mahmud Hossain Jahangir confirmed the matter to BSS.
