Bangladesh's first-ever premium water park 'Mana Bay' has officially opened its doors to visitors in Gazaria, Munshiganj.

The announcement was made at the soft opening ceremony of the water park on Friday.

Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal was present as the chief guest while British Deputy High Commissioner Matt Cannell was present as special guest.

Masood Dawood Akbani, Chairman of Mana Bay, made the opening announcement.

Owned and operated by ACS Textiles with full British investment, the venture promises an unforgettable experience to all its visitors, proudly maintaining international standards of excellence. WhiteWater, a renowned ride supplier, has been a key partner in bringing this project to life, said the owners.

Their dedication to creating a water park that encapsulates the Polynesian concepts of 'mana' (spiritual power from nature) and 'bay' (beauty and serenity) has resulted in an extraordinary attraction that celebrates the best of nature and culture.

The premium water park is dedicated to maintaining international standards of quality and safety.

Every aspect of the park, from attractions to operations, has been meticulously designed to offer visitors an experience that rivals the finest water parks worldwide.

The unique architecture, design, music, dances, and art within the park will immerse visitors in the diverse cultures of Polynesia, giving them a fascinating voyager's experience.

Spanning around 60,000 SQM, the park offers a diverse attraction lineup for all ages. Its features include three water slide tours, a wave pool, a FlowRider Double, a kid's area, and a lazy river.

The additional amenities encompass a spa facility, Blissful Bay and Activity pools, Hydro Groove wet disco, multiple restaurants, and food trucks.

The kid's area includes small slides, a splash pad, and RainFortress 5, along with a play structure.

An iconic volcano in the park's centre adds a unique touch to the Polynesian-themed attraction.

Mana Bay's commitment to excellence extends to international collaborations, including certified international lifeguards, an AVP from Universal Studios, and an array of international Heads of Departments (HODs).

Ovais Akbani, Owner and Managing Director of Mana Bay, said, “Mana Bay aspires to be more than a water park. It envisions itself as a vibrant community where people can work, play, and live. We are dedicated to creating a lasting legacy that enriches the lives of our visitors and the region as a whole. Along with creating waves in the pool, we aim to make waves in the local economy, fostering employment, and contributing to the betterment of Bangladesh. We invite you to be a part of this transformative journey and experience the magic of Mana Bay.”

To celebrate the water park's inauguration, a two-day-long carnival with a vibrant lineup of events has been arranged, including an opening parade, warrior dance, Haka dance, and stilt walking performances.

Additionally, organizers have arranged activities such as face painting, handicraft workshops, caricature, and live theatrical &  musical performances to enhance the festive atmosphere.
