The Appellate Division of the Supreme Court has denied bail to two life-term convicts in a case of crimes against humanity committed in 1971.
An Appellate Division bench led by Chief Justice Obaidul Hasan passed the order on Tuesday.
On February 20, the International Crimes Tribunal sentenced war criminals Dr Khandkar Golam Sabbir Ahmad and Abdus Sattar to life imprisonment.
The defendants appealed against the verdict and pleaded for bail.
