The Supreme Court administration on Thursday fixed the office hour for its Appellate and High Court Divisions and lower courts during the holy Ramadan.

The official activities of the Appellate Division will start at 8:30am and continue to 3:00pm from Sunday to Thursday with a break from 1:15-1:30pm, except weekly and government-declared holidays during the holy month, an official release said.

However, the Appellate Division's 'court schedule' will remain unchanged.

The trial proceedings of the High Court Division will run from 10:30am to 3:15pm from Sunday to Thursday with a break for Zuhr prayers from 1:15am to 2:00pm.

But, the 'official activities' of the High Court Division will continue from 9:15am to 3:30pm with a break from 1:15pm to 1:30pm.

On the other hand, at the lower courts, the trial proceedings will start at 9:30am and continue to 3:00 pm from Sunday to Thursday with a break for the Zuhr prayers from 1:15pm to 1:30pm.

The lower court offices will remain open from 9:00am to 3:30pm with a break for Zuhr prayers from 1:15pm to 1:30pm.
