Bangladesh registered one more Covid related death and 342 new infections in the last 24hrs until Friday morning.
According to the latest data, the total number of fatalities reached 28,055, while the positivity rate stood at 2.02.
After adding the fresh cases, the total number of caseloads jumped to 15,82,710, said a regular bulletin of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
The health authorities reported the latest figures after testing 16,913 samples at 849 laboratories across the country.
At the same time, 292 patients recovered from the deadly infection in the last 24 hours, raising the overall recovery to 15,46,956.
Bangladesh has so far tested 1,13,62,254 samples.
Meanwhile, the global Covid cases reached 278,203,141 and fatalities reached 5,388,908.
