Bangladesh reported two more deaths and 382 new Covid infections in the last 24hrs until Thursday morning.
According to the latest data, the total number of fatalities from the deadly virus reached 28,054 while the positivity rate stood at 1.95 per cent.
After adding the fresh cases, the total caseload jumped to 15,82,368, said a regular bulletin of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
The health authorities reported the latest figures after testing 19,624 samples at 849 laboratories across the country. Bangladesh has so far tested 1,13,45,341 samples.
At the same time, 312 patients recovered from the deadly infection in the last 24 hours, raising the overall recovery to 15,46,664.
Meanwhile, the global Covid cases reached 277,185,382 and fatalities reached 5,377,984.
