Fourteen more Covid patients died in the past 24 hours at Rajshahi Medical College and Hospital till Friday morning, according to the district's health officials.
"Of the deceased, five were Covid-19 positive while nine died with Covid-like-symptoms said Brigadier General Shamim Yazdani, director of Rajshahi Medical College and Hospital (RMCH).
Six of them were from Rajshahi, three from Naogaon, four from Chapainawabganj, and one from Natore.
With 65 new cases, a total of 423 people are currently undergoing Covid treatment at the hospital.
On Thursday, a total of 400 samples were tested in the hospital's lab. Of these, 119 people were identified as Covid positive.
As per the test ratio of the samples, the infection rate in Naogaon is 38.13 per cent and 29.75 per cent in Rajshahi.
So far, 320 people died at RMCH till Friday.
