Bangladesh on Sunday registered 430 fresh Covid-19 cases in a 24-hour span, while the daily infection rate dropped to 7.04 per cent.
With the fresh infections, the total caseload reached 20,01,775, according to the daily virus update by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
The health authorities reported the latest figures after testing 6,105 samples at 880 laboratories across the country.
The country at the same time recorded four more Covid-related deaths pushing the toll to 29,266.
Meanwhile, 1,270 patients recovered from the infection over the last 24 hours, pushing the overall recovery to 19,35,963.
However, on Saturday, the positivity rate was 10.1.
Bangladesh reported its first cases on March 8, 2020, and the first coronavirus-related death on March 18 of the same year.
